blu in Brazil
This past weekend in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the No.15 entry for Graham Rahal in the Sao Paulo Indy 300 went blu.
Graham Rahal drove the blu eCigs Honda for 71 laps on the track in Brazil. He finished in 19th place, after a strong start. Rahal is optimistic for races going forward, and is happy with the quickness of the car.
Everyone is looking forward to trying again at the Indianapolis 500.
Blu and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) is co-owned by CBS Late Show host David Letterman, Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan, and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal. blu eCigs partnered with RLL to sponsor the first three rounds of the IZOD IndyCar Series season. At the race in Long Beach, Florida, they were the primary sponsor for Mike Conway’s entry. Starting with the race in Brazil, blu become the primary partner for Graham Rahal’s entry.
The partnership has been such a success that blu eCigs will increase its involvement in the 97th Indianapolis 500, held over Memorial Day weekend this year. blu will be the major associate sponsor with enhanced branding on the race car.
“We are very pleased with the positive response by fans about blu as an IndyCar primary sponsor,” said Matt Coapman, our VP of marketing. “We saw the use of e-cigarettes throughout the event, including by our own pit crew. This is good for the sport and our brand.”
During the upcoming races, keep an eye out for blu on the track—and why not try a blu eCigs® electronic cigarette while you watch? Everything’s better with blu!
