Stay Busy & Have Fun When You’re Stuck Inside
How many of you knew that there was something called a “polar vortex” earlier this month?
Yeah, neither did we.
It’s been so cold even here in Charlotte that we started thinking about ways we could keep ourselves entertained until the cold snap passed. We ended up with a good list – so good, in fact – we decided we’d share it with everyone.
Everyone loves a good drinking game. While beer pong and flip cup are classics, take a look at this list of 22 drinking games if you want to mix things up a little bit.
A “must have” party game for your phone or tablet.
How it works: Get a group of people together, load up the app, select a category, and then hold your phone (or tablet) up to your forehead. From there, you’ve got 60 seconds where a word will appear on the screen, everyone else shouts clues, and you try to guess it. If you get it right, you tilt your device down, if you can’t get it and want to skip you tilt up. Sounds basic, but it’s a ton of fun. As a bonus, your phone camera records the session so you can re-watch particularly hilarious rounds again—or send them out to share on social media.

The Camera Game
If you’ve got a group of friends and a camera with a self-timer, you’re all set.
How it works: Have everyone sit in a circle. The person who starts the game sets the self-timer then passes the camera to the person sitting on their left. Each person then must hold the camera like they’re taking a selfie before they can pass the camera to their left. This keeps going until the camera takes the pic.
We promise you’ll get some good shots!
Bonus tip: Make sure you own the camera. That way, you can post the most embarrassing photos of your friends on your Facebook page.
We all have gadgets – smart phones, tablets, computers, Smart TVs and more – but board games, while old school, continue to have a place in our technologically dominated lives. Here’s a list of some of our favorites:
- Cards Against Humanity (For those who are not easily offended…)
- Apples to Apples
- Monopoly (of course)
If none of these sound good, take a look at Ranker.com’s list of top 76 board games of all time.
Fun with E-cigs, But Don’t Try This At Home
And finally, Jonathan Burger from our marketing team got a little creative the other day and figured out some ways to help the blu eCigs team pass the time during our recent cold snap. Fun to share, but please don’t try this at home.
